Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread this mixture evenly over the cut side of the bottom half of the rolls.
Layer the sliced turkey or chicken on top of the mayo mixture, followed by a layer of Swiss cheese.
Place the top half of the rolls back on top of the cheese.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the sandwich rolls.
Cover the sandwiches with aluminum foil and place them in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven, cool for a few minutes, and slice the sandwiches into individual pieces to serve.
Notes
Can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
