optional toppings: sesame seeds, za'atar spice, or fresh herbs
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well until evenly distributed.
Gradually pour in the warm water and olive oil. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, mix until a sticky dough forms.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
After the dough has risen, flour your work surface generously and gently pour the dough onto it.
Let the dough rest for another 30 minutes while you preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
After 30 minutes, carefully transfer the rested dough onto a piece of parchment paper.
Optional: Sprinkle the surface of the dough with sesame seeds, za'atar spice, or chopped fresh herbs.
Carefully slide the parchment paper with the dough onto the hot baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with a little more olive oil while still warm.
Notes
Serve warm with a side of olive oil and vinegar for dipping.
