In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, honey, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the chicken to marinate and absorb flavors.
Preheat the grill over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off.
Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken has nice grill marks.
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve the chicken warm, garnished with lemon slices and fresh basil sprigs.
