1lbboneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
3tablespoonsolive oil
4clovesgarlic, minced
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
1teaspoondried oregano
12salt
14black pepper
14red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
2tablespoonsfreshly chopped parsley (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to create a marinade.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to intensify the flavors.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken bites in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Check for doneness – the chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove from heat.
Transfer the chicken bites to a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the chicken before eating.
Notes
Marinating the chicken for longer enhances the flavor.
