1sprayNon-stick cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk them together until evenly mixed.
In a separate bowl, mix the warm water, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and egg. Whisk well until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient mixture, and mix with a spatula until a thick, sticky dough forms. If adding garlic powder, stir it in at this stage.
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes until it increases in size slightly.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
Once the dough has risen, with wet hands (to prevent sticking), scoop out small portions of dough (about the size of a golf ball) and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
If desired, shape them into a smooth ball for a nicer appearance.
Let the rolls rise for another 15-20 minutes, covered with the towel.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with herb-infused butter or olive oil for dipping.
