Ingredients
2

refrigerated cinnamon rolls
6
large
eggs
1
cup
milk
1
2 cup
heavy cream
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1
4 teaspoon
nutmeg
1
3 cup
maple syrup
1
2 cup
chopped pecans (optional)
to taste
powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces evenly in the greased baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish. Ensure all pieces are coated.
Drizzle the maple syrup over the top, and sprinkle the chopped pecans if using.
Use a fork to gently press the cinnamon roll pieces down into the egg mixture, ensuring they soak for about 10 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon rolls over the baked dish and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Optional pecans can be added for extra crunch.
