- Quote up to 2 short ingredients lines OR 1–2 sentences from a recipe headnote in a blog post, article, or social caption with clear attribution (“Recipe by Savory Spiral” or “Via SavorySpiral.com”) and a direct, functioning hyperlink to the original recipe page.
- Use one (1) unaltered photo from a recipe post in a roundup article or feature only if you provide: (a) visible credit (“Photo: Savory Spiral”), and (b) a direct link to the specific post. 4. Recipe Adaptations & Attribution Guidelines
If you develop a recipe inspired by one published here and wish to post your adaptation:
- Rewrite the method and ingredient list in your own words reflecting substantive changes (e.g., altered ratios, technique changes, ingredient substitutions that materially affect outcome).
- Attribute clearly near the recipe title or headnote: e.g., “Adapted from Savory Spiral’s [Original Dish Name]” with a hyperlink.
- Avoid passing off extremely close copies as original; minor tweaks (swapping herbs, adjusting salt) do not create a new recipe.
